Assume
you are operating a vehicle. You wouldn't disregard the fuel gauge, would you?
Like an automobile, our world runs on energy, so it's more crucial than ever to
keep an eye on how we use it. The importance of energy assessment is becoming
more and more clear as 2024 draws near. So, what's the big deal about?

Are you about to start selling us energy assessments by any chance, because if you are, that’s against forum rules and your post will be removed. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.2 -
Trouble is the govt energy assessment scheme is a total waste of time and not fit for purpose1

We had a survey and report from Home Energy Scotland. Completely useless.0

As an aside looking at Elsien's pedant alert, I've never come across anyone using 'could of' although I guess some people probably think it is grammatically correct. For my pedantry I'd change this to "it's could've not could of". Web sources acknowledge 'could've' as an acceptable contraction so I don't see the point of insisting on 'could have'Install 28th Nov 15, 3.3kW, (11x300LG), SolarEdge, SW. W Yorks.

Agree that 'could of' is definitely wrong but 'could have' is 100% correct although 'could've' is indeed an acceptable contraction of that (but still a little less than 100% correct)NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq51 -
I've come across plenty of people using 'could of' as they forget that the contraction refers to 'have'. That is in both written and verbal forms..
