you would not get a dro anyway if you can afford £100 a month, let alone £600!, but if it was only £75 you would, but if your investment was compulsory to take it in February, then it would have revoked it mid termChristians Against Poverty solved my debt problem, when all other debt charities failed. Give them a call !! ( You don't have to be a Christian ! )

it's only private pensions where you are under 55 that are safe, or over you are 55 and they are too low to pay off your debts.
it was just the phrase they mature next year, got me thinking are they locked away you can't legally touch or access at presentChristians Against Poverty solved my debt problem, when all other debt charities failed. Give them a call !! ( You don't have to be a Christian ! )

Thanks, I presume should if I pay less than agreed, if the creditor was to instruct a bailff I would get a letter before they arrive so I could do my best to prevent?0

Forget bailiffs, they don't just turn up. You would need to have had a CCJ that you completely ignored and then they can't enter your property. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0

Thanks, yeah I understand they cant enter, but still tramatic if they arrive, but by the sounds of it, as have no CCJ's and should I get notice of one I would resolve and Feb next year is not to far away0

no need to panic, you are like me over think and over worry, I'm learning to stop that thinking the more I learn.
ballifs are court appointed, not private debt collectors, these balliffs only come after a ccj has been awarded and the person doesn't adhere to the ccj.
eg they ignore it or payment via wage deduction has failed.
these ballifs are for unpaid income tax , council tax, not consumer debt eg bank loans ,credit cards
me thinks you have been watching too much poorly made and edited reality TV beat the balliff showsChristians Against Poverty solved my debt problem, when all other debt charities failed. Give them a call !! ( You don't have to be a Christian ! )

It would be easier to raise the Titanic than instruct a bailiff to collect a debt with no court judgement attached.
Always best to do your research before thinking out loud on internet forums Dave, in your position I would stop all payments and wait for the settlement offers to roll in, then once your money has landed negotiate with individual creditors for their bargain basement deals, you are in the driving seat my friend, you call the shots.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
