Natwest

Options
Good afternoon everyone. I stopped payments to all creditors on June 1st and I have had a couple of letters and emails from some of them but oh my, NatWest are bombarding me! I am getting emails and several calls a day to my landline and mobile and they leave an automated message each time (for anyone to hear) Is this normal? Thanks

  • Block all the numbers, write to them by snail mail and tell them you only want contact by snail mail.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.
  • Thank you! I will do that although trying to find an address to send anything to them is difficult to say the least. I suppose I could send it to my local branch (if it is still there!).

I’m having the same issue with NatWest and also they are the least willing to consider my request for a writeoff. They have a “specialised” team dealing with me because of my health issues but if their specialised team treat their customers in this manner I dread to think what treatment I would have got from their standard team!
To me, they are just spewing BS , pretending to care when their only objective is to chase the money

Persist with it - I eventually got a debt classed as "will no longer be collected" as they refused to write it off on health grounds.

As already said, keep at them.

Remind them of their Consumer Duty

No-one really understands it but everyone's scared of falling foul of it!
