Removing Paint from Clothing

Options
Hi,

I have a jacket that has paint on the back of it, is there any way to remove this?

Thanks in advance.

  • Do you know what sort of paint it is?  And how long has it been on the jacket?

Probably a few years, the paint was for internal walls.
  • Then it is likely to be acrylic paint  That is waterbased, but I think that after so long a period, its unlikely to come out.  If its washable, you could try tamping it with soap before washing it, and see what happens, but I'm not hopeful that it will be a success.  I hope I'm wrong, though!
