Removing Paint from Clothing

Hi,

I have a jacket that has paint on the back of it, is there any way to remove this?

Do you know what sort of paint it is?  And how long has it been on the jacket?

Probably a few years, the paint was for internal walls.

Then it is likely to be acrylic paint  That is waterbased, but I think that after so long a period, its unlikely to come out.  If its washable, you could try tamping it with soap before washing it, and see what happens, but I'm not hopeful that it will be a success.  I hope I'm wrong, though!
