Hi all

I am having a hard time working carbs etc out. Been trying for ages.

Please can someone tell me
I can not have more than 3 gram carbs per ounce ok. So would these cheeses be ok?
Our Vegan Blue has 10.4g carbs per 100g
Our Smoked Vegan has 7.3g per 100g
Our Summer Truffle Vegan has 8.5g per 100g
Our Haverstock White has 9.8g per 100g

Also what about this cheese? Vio life slices and vio life grated cheese?

So an ounce is 28g so I think all of those "cheeses" are ok

I also need to keep the carbs down.  I've been told that means hard cheeses.  From my research that equates to 3g per 100g

    3g/ounce is about 11g/100g.

Not sure why anyone would mix the units, though (maybe they would in the US?)

Soft cheeses generally have more carbs. Some hard cheeses are virtually zero carbs per 100g. Vegan 'cheese ' is ultra processed junk, likely to be high on salt.

3g carbs per ounce is weird, mixing units like that.

23g is less than 28g.. so what do you think.

Aside from that why on earth are you even looking at vegan cheese, a UFP which is terrible for your health generally. The violife one has lots of salt, zero protein... It does have half the calories of regular cheddar, but that's about the only thing going for it.

If you want to be vegan, be vegan but avoid all the wierd fake meat/cheese etc.

    No, not the violife one.

That is 20g of carbs per 100g, which is about 5.6g per ounce.

(To convert grams per 100g into grams per ounce, multiply by 0.28)
