Rbs debt and Aberdein Considine

Hi everyone.

One of debts that has defaulted is RBS personal loan. I owe £9858.22. I have allowed it to default and made no contact. However I have received a letter from Aberdein Considine who act on behalf of RBS and want me to set up a repayment plan. Anyone come across this company before they appear to be a solicitor based in Aberdeen. I'm in Scotland.

Since its defaulted do I just go ahead and set up a repayment plan.?

Thanks.

Solicitor/debt collector, they drink from the same well, I've never heard of them either.

You can send a prove-it letter to make them work for their money, or if your happy to go ahead, set up a payment plan.

I am familiar with Aberdein Considine but more so with the estate agency side of their business which has an office on Union Street.
  • Hi.

An update so I contacted them to say I can start making repayments towards this debt in Nov...however insisting I fill in finance planner sheet and will go back to their client to see if they agree to amount I can pay. Do I need to complete this...and if I do should I just show that my offer of repayment is all I can afford to pay back. ?
I don't have the details just to set up a standing order

    Thanks

You dont have to complete it but sometimes it can be easier just to jump through their hoops to shut them up. Work out a figure yourself thst you want to pay , then work backwards and create a budget to give to them.
