Hi, Can I send the official CCA request by email or is it essential that it is posted along with the one pound payment?

One other thing I've see asked but never answered. With a CC debt (3000 pounds) being mine alone, but the house joint owned by myself and my wife, what can the debt collectors do with regards to the house?

    Nothing is basically the answer.

Absolutely nothing, debt collector's have no power to do anything.

What I think you`re asking is if legal action is taken by a lender or a debt purchasing company, and a CCJ is then granted, and the lender chooses to obtain a charging order to secure the debt on your property at the same time.

There is more chance of you winning the Euromillion`s jackpot than this scenario playing out over a 3k debt.

It just won`t happen, but lets say it did, the best a lender could do would be to get a restriction, not a full CO, so it would be a complete waste of everyone`s time.
