Owing training costs

Long story short I changed employer around 5 months ago and it's not working out.
Previous employer has offered me an improved position however I have done some training with my current job.
I'm an engineer by trade and it's all been product specific training.
There's no mention of me having to stay for x amount of years in my contract so I'm wondering how likely it is I will lose money on my final wage?
The wording in my contract is as follows:

The wording in my contract is as follows:
The following list of examples of deductions is not
exhaustive but gives general guidance to the types of deductions that would be made by the Company: loans made to you
by the Company; attachment of earnings orders; any money due to the Company from you (examples including parking
fines, speeding fines and reimbursement of personal use of the Company mobile telephone); excess of holiday pay over
entitlement; excess of sick pay over entitlement; excess of expenses claimed by you; any money requested by you in writing
to be deducted; overpayment of wages, expenses or any other kind, whether through mistake or misrepresentation; and
the cost of repairing damage to or loss of Company property caused by you. By signing this Statement, you give your written
consent for such deductions to be made.
Any help would be appreciated.

My inexpert understanding was that the contract had to specifically mention training costs for them to be able to be recouped. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.4 -

If there was training of a more transferable nature and delivered by an external company resulting in a qualification / certificate of some kind, then that would be more reasonable for an employer to try to recover. Say, First Aid at Work, for example.
Obviously, neither can be recovered if the contract does not allow for it.
Nothing stops the employer from trying it on.
