A married woman reach state pension age before 05 April 2016 (old state pension rules apply) but was a homemaker and did not work. Her husband reached state pension age after 06 April 2016 (new state pension rules apply) and paid sufficient NI contributions to get a pension but not eligible for full state pension. Is there any way she can get a state pension based on her husband?

If she reached state pension age before 1950 she has achieved a remarkable age!

A woman always did her self assessment and paid taxes on investment and savings for over 20 years but she was not aware that in order to be eligible for a state pension, she should separately pay her NI contribution. Its too late to fill her NI gaps. She reached state pension age before 06 April 2016. Are there any options for her to be eligible for state pension?

Assume you mean April 2016 :)
Page 8, scenario 1.  Ignore 2017 and replace with 2016 as it was produced before the 2016 new pension introduction.

Did she pay any NI in her working life?  Is she married?
