I was under the impression college teachers would also get the approved rise. As they are in the teachers pension. But I don't think they do?

Being in the pension scheme is irrelevant to pay rises. The government has confirmed the pay rise for schools does not apply to college teachers. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Any idea when that gets decided?0

It’s already been decided. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have said it didn’t apply.
The announcement was today.

I don’t think negotiations are even starting until September so certainly not imminently.
If you’re in a union, you might want to ask them the question. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
