Taking Back Control

Hello everyone,
I have just signed up here after finally making the decision that I can't continue the way I have been. I invested quite a lot in courses which ran up my credit cards and now I have a total of 10,500 owing. With my rent increase and fewer hours of work there has been an impact on me as I am left with nothing after paying the cards and my monthly bills.
I have cut back and stopped my gym membership, Netflix, Amazon and all those things (even my window cleaner). I used the credit checker on Martin's site and I have a very poor credit score as all my cards are at 60% or more. I am panicking as I can't see a way forward on this. I am self employed so SC are of limited help to me. Any ideas I can use as my creativity is running low. Thank you in advance.

Welcome and well done to have the courage to do something about your debt.
First thing to do is to go to one of the stickies and find the statement of accounts (SOA). Fill that out as completely as you are able and post back here and people will give you some ideas on how to move forward on all of this!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. Thank you Brie. Today I cut my broadband and mobile bill by half each just based on Martin's tips and links. I've already saved £64 per month. So grateful0
