My wife recently received a lump sum payment and an increase in her state pension., due to hrp not being applied for two years. My question here is regarding the lump sum and the lack of any inflation protection being applied. I.e. the £3 per week shortfall from 17 years ago has been repaid, as just that, £3.

Surely this is seriously unfair to be applied this way. Anyone else queried this ?
