I'm still in the Sharia fund with Nest. It's now up substantially since late July.
  • yeah, it's just had a few bad weeks. But realistically that'll be because everyone got too excited about the possibilities of AI, which pushed up Nvidia's stock price massively.  What we're seeing now is a cool down from that, so I think we'll see the Sharia fund continue on its normal trajectory soon enough.

This is when high-volatility funds get a little scary. It's hard to trust the process when you're seeing your pot diminish. It's certainly been a test of my intestinal fortitude!

What you have seen is not normal.   It is a bubble forming in technology stocks compared to the wider market.   Whether tech can justify that bubble, only time will tell.

What you have seen in recent times with the fund is nothing to what it is capable of doing in real negative periods.   This is barely a blip relative to the risk being taken.

  • You’ve switched to a lower risk lower growth fund on a slight dip. Had you stuck with it your fund would be up.

The fund is now getting a Trump boost and I see it increasing more for the next few weeks. Could it crash, yes it could. But right here, right now, your quick switch has cost you!
