Charity clothing collections

Good morning

Does anyone happen to know of any charities who will pick up large quantities of goof quality clothing? I have a neighbour who has masses of clothing to remove due to downsizing. I have tried to help but it is exhausting keep running to charity shops as we are both in our dotage now. Does anyone know of anyone who could pick up please?

Try your local Air Ambulance charity. The one in the East Midlands picked up half a garage's worth of things including many bags of clothing after my Mum had passed away and I was clearing her possessions.

I'd say your best bet is to ask the charity shops you've already been using - as the majority use mainly local volunteers, whether they are prepared to collect things or not will often depend on the local people rather than national policy.
