Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet.
Gloriously sunny day yesterday - washing dried and lots of gardening done. The new allotment is bigger than I thought so will take some time to dig over. I was there for about 2 hours yesterday and didn't seem to have got much done. Never mind, it's a bit late to plant much anyway so I'll dig it over and cover it to try and keep the weeds at bay.
I'll visit the original allotment this morning once I've collected the little one, there will be peas to be picked (that she will eat) and some watering to be done. We'll probably go swimming later as her Mummy is going to collect her new van so I'll have her a bit longer today.
Hoping for some good news with the little one dp1, you've been on my mind.
Hope your upset tummy is feeling better today Nanny.
Get well wishes to Rob Ruby, you must miss him.
Quite cloudy today but still very warm. Take care. XX13 -
Morning - thanks Scarlet for the start.Camelot - are you keeping both allotments?
Yesterday seemed a blur of running around after DF, he’s doing okay and think it’ll be easier once there’s a routine. Feel like I’m nagging about ‘have you done exercises’ have you had painkillers’ etc - I’d rather he took ownership of his own care but guess it’s early days. The way my brain works is different - I’d have a timetable whereas he’s more relaxed….anyway he’s eating better so will see how today goes. I did also manage to mow and edge the lawn.Today will be similar I guess though DM has an oncology telephone consultation too 😬
It’s a good job that the work I do stops for the summer though I am desperately trying to do some craft work too.Hoping for good news about DP1’s little one - she’s been through so much.Have a good day

Morning all
Its very chilly here this morning feels like autumn! I am working today 😃 I am off to collect Rob and take him to work, Camelot I do miss him a lot and worry about him when I don’t see him, hopefully his tummy will be ok today 🤞
DD is off to the wedding venue today to help set it up and then she will spend the night with the bride to be before the ceremony tomorrow, much excitement for them and at least two years in the planning.
Dinner tonight will be chicken mash and salad I got a whole chicken so will do for tomorrows dinner as well, I might nip home from work a bit early and put it in the oven so that it’s ready and can be cooling for dinner.
I too have been thinking of DP1 and little one I hope there is some positive news today xx
Camelot you are going to be busy with two allotments to look after xx
Have good days all and take care xx12 -
Morning all. What a wonderfully hot and sunny day we had yesterday, it gives such a lift to the spirit and soul. I even overcame my long-term inertia to get into the garden and start to clear up the remains of the clematis and the other plant. All taken to the tip though there's more to do. The new fan was delivered so I'm set up with two of them now, each pointing outwards in opposite directions. Now I have to wait until the colder weather to test out if the theory is accurate. This morning my cleaner is coming so I'll make myself scarce, I really feel awkward sitting around when he's working away.My thoughts are also with DP1's little one and hope for some better news later. Take care everyone.11

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET. It's a bit misty here but we are forecast sun shortly and quite warm - hope it happens!
A bit of a flying visit for me. I wish I could say because I slept in but instead I have been messing about. I am now behind myself and I am meeting bus buddy for our day out in an hour. I have yet my hair to dry and try and do something miraculous with my hot hair brush. It's in need of a cut as it's neither one style or another now.
I have kept popping in hoping to see good news from Dp1. Like the rest of us we all have them in our thoughts and hoping for better news. Such a worrying time for them.
Hve a good day all if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, poorly loved ones or fed up. Take care all xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11 -
Morning all, my tummy is much better, I think it could have been the curry which I had on Sat night that upset it, it was a bit spicy for me and I only normally do mild ones. We're going to Dad's this morning to pay a bill online and to look for a new fridge/ freezer for him, hope he's in a good mood. After that we'll swing round and come home via the meat van, we've almost run out of their delicious sausages.
DD flew to Montenegro on Monday, the flight was delayed for half an hour and then they sat on the runway for almost 3 more but at least they got there, hopefully all the technical glitches will be ironed out by the time they come home. The weather was hot but raining when they landed and now it's sunny and over 30 degrees, wish I was there too.
Thinking about dp1 and family, I too hope little one is improving.
Take care and hugs to all in need.
nan xx

Morning all, bit late today, I've been doing some more weeding before the green bin gets collected. Our bin day has changed, and the paper one is only going to be collected once a month.I had a nice bus trip yesterday, managed to buy 2 new nighties from a stall I've used before, a delicious pork pie and some reduced bits from M/s. In the afternoon I sat out and finished my book. Today there is the meat order to collect. We had a 'grazing board' for tea last night, there's a bit of stuff left so I'll eat that for my lunch.Dp1, hope little one is a bit better, sending love & best wishes to you all.Not much else to say so hope the day goes well for you all.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
