TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Renault Paris Trip” (“Competition”) 

1.       Background

These terms and conditions (“Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside our general competition terms and conditions at: http://bauerlegal.co.uk/ (“General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail. Entries are restricted to one entry per person. 

 2.       How to enter

Entry to the Competition is available via the following routes: (a) online at https://www.carmagazine.co.uk/car-news/competitions/renault-scenic-paris-trip/; and (b) online at

We may advertise the Prize on any other websites and social media channels associated with our brands, via SMS marketing messages and via any other medium.

 Entry is free of charge.

 To enter the Competition, entrants must correctly answer the challenge question provided. All entrants that correctly answer the challenge question provided will be entered into a draw to win the Prize. All valid entries across the Websites will be pooled together and the winner will be chosen by electronic random draw on Wednesday 4 September 2024 One entrant will be selected from all valid entries and the entrant that is selected will win the Prize. The winner will be contacted by either email or telephone.

Entries must be submitted between Tuesday 16 July 2024 at 17:00 (“Start Time”) and Friday 30 August 2024 at 23:59 (“End Time”). 

Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time will be invalid.  

 If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 calendar days from the date of the initial attempt to contact them, we will re-draw until we draw a winner that we are satisfied (in our discretion) fulfils the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Specific Terms and the General Terms. 

3.       Entry Restrictions

The Competition is only open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on the date of entry. For the avoidance of doubt, Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man are not considered to be part of the UK.

Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition are not permitted to enter.

We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant or winner who does not comply with any of the eligibility criteria and/or is in breach of these Specific Terms or the General Terms. We reserve the right to repeat the Competition or any stage of it in order to draw a winner that fulfils all of the eligibility criteria and is in compliance with these Specific Terms and the General Terms.

Use of a false name will result in disqualification.

4.       The Prize

The Prize is a luxury Paris trip (“Prize”).

The winner will receive:

(a)    Return UK rail travel to any UK Eurostar terminal for two adults or one adult and one child valued at up-to £500 in total;

(b)    Return Eurostar business class travel from any UK Eurostar terminal to the Paris Eurostar terminal for two adults or one adult and one child valued at up-to £1,150 in total;

(c)    Two nights at a 4 star (minimum) hotel in Paris with breakfast included. Accommodation will be one standard class twin or double room valued at up-to £1,100 in total; and

(d)    Luxury restaurant experience for two adults or one adult and one child which includes a three-course meal and drinks valued at up-to £800 in total.

 The Prize will be booked in consultation with the winner.

Only one Prize is available.

The Prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions (including baggage policies and conditions of carriage). Failure to comply with such terms may result in travellers incurring costs and expenses and/or forfeiture of the Prize (or any element of it).

The winner of the Prize must be one of the travellers and must stay at the accommodation booked in connection with the Prize.

Each element of the Prize is subject to availability and the last day of travel must be no later than 31 December 2024.

The Prize cannot be combined with any other discount or offer.

You must be able to travel on the selected dates and once booked, each element of the Prize cannot be amended.

You will be responsible for ensuring that you (and any of your guests) have a valid, in-date passport for travelling and are also responsible for securing and paying for any and all visas and other travel documentation required. You will also be responsible for sourcing and paying for any vaccinations or other medical provisions required for travel, for both you and your guests.

Unless expressly stated, the cost of any spending money, food, drink or any other sustenance outside the scope of the Prize is not included. Any additions or upgrades to travel, accommodation or otherwise are not included in the Prize and will be the responsibility of the winner, or any of their guests.

Unless expressly stated, the cost of travel to and from the relevant train stations and accommodation are not included in the Prize.

Any other excursions or activities not expressly stated are not included in the Prize. The cost of any such excursions or activities are the responsibility of the winner and any guests. 

Travel insurance is not included as part of the Prize and is the responsibility of the winner and any of their guests.

The Prize is provided by Renault UK Limited (“Prize Provider”). We are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery or a traveller being unable to take up any aspect, or the entirety of, the Prize due to their own circumstances or restrictions.  

Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available
