I suppose Sterradent is perhaps the most well known Denture cleaner, but it is expensive. Is there a more economical brand which does the same thing, better still is there a home made recipe whic I assume would cause far less ?
while talking about dentures what's the best way to remove that awful paste from the denture

I have always (20yrs+) just used the handwash on the side of the bathroom sink......... cleans them perfectly imo1

OT: I find Steradent is just the thing for removing tea stains from mugs. I'm not sure it's expensive though - or at least I don't think it is.
Personally I clean my mouth guard with mouthwash, and my toothbrush.1 -
Im another that just uses toothpaste and warm water. Never bought Steradent or any other brand in 30 years1

Savers do it for a pound.I have a small bridge that I use it to clean and what I do is break a tablet in half and put it in warm water then drop the bridge in while I'm cleaning my teeth.goes twice as long then
Excellent if you have tea stained cups to clean them as well1 -
look for own brands (Wilko was good!)
These own brand prices:
Superdrug : Currently member offer- 3 for 2 @ 87 pence each, so £1.77 for 3
Tesco & Asda showing @ 80 penceBeing polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

I use tesco own brand, once a week is enough I think, although they do all advise that you do it more often - so you use more!1
