I thought it would be good to give an update on what has happened to my situation. 
Having gone through all the comments following my post, I decided to send a letter to the finance director,  medical director,  payroll team leader as well as chief executive of the hospital.
Swiftly,  they came back to me with frank apology,  admitting their mistake.
They have now written a statement admiting their mistake ,and asked me to submit the statement together with my own account of what happened with the N244 to the court.
The hospital has also promised to pay the fees and all the charges by the bailiff. 
The court has responded and informed me that a hearing date will be set.
Hospital is willing to attend and confirm that it was their fault .

I am really grateful to all those who gave me their thoughts. It has worked.
If I hadn't come here I would have spent more money with the lawyers and it would have taken more time to sort out.
