Statutory Legal Audit Plan (Debt solutions)

Has anyone heard of or had any experience with these as a debt solution?

Thanks in advance.

How much do this company charge you?

Essentially, they appear to be sending out CCA letters to the (relevant) creditors to invalidate credit agreements.

People on MSE have been sending these template letters out, or prove it letters, to invalidate credit agreements longer than I've been on MSE. Cost one  postage stamp and technically a £1 postal order or cheque.

If they have the document, the creditor can still enforce the debt, if they haven't they can't.

Understanding the replies sometimes takes a bit of discussion on here, but most of the time the company chasing the debt produces the documentation, or fail, stop trying to collect and send the debt back to the original lender.

Is not rocket science more diesel engine.

If you work from the template letters here, you can also challenge old debts that are statute barred.

If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

Never heard of it. Sounds very pompous if it's a UK thing.

If USA, well, could be anything

It's Bolton, UK. Appears to be the company's individually created term for a simple process under the Consumer Credit Act 1974, designed to bamboozle punters.

Oh right. What are the templates called? Thanks.

The company charges quite a bit. About 450 a month for a year. 😬

other solicitors offer the same thing eg letters you can write yourself to creditors
In particular the first one the consumer credit act 1974 where you ask for cca agreements and statements

This is the one fatbelly links to:

National Debtline | Sample letters - Information about your agreement under the Consumer Credit Act | National Debtline

    P.S. Money for old rope.

If you've not paid anything towards an old debt for close 6 years, the prove it letter in the bottom stickie on this subforum's front page may be better.

I’m almost 55k in debt. Various loans and credit cards. I’m switching between 0% cards to try and keep the debt down, and have had a consolidation loan to put all other loans into one.
But it’s still does not seem to have been manageable.
I am not exactly poor. I earn a decent wage, but nothing I do seems to be affecting the debt. I have attempted the snowball effect too.

But then there are life events that happen that cause me to enter further debt.  Ie car troubles!!!

Maybe, I’m just not giving it enough time??

I’m just getting financial anxiety because of it and feel overwhelmed by it all.
