    Nobody has to read out a statement,  no idea why you thought that aspect
    Dunno. Never been to court before. Neither has hubby.    Does the Judge bother to read it?

    You send your witness statement to the court and the claimant (or their solicitor) and the judge should read it before the hearing.  I wouldn't mention that the driver has poor eyesight!
    You were shown some examples of recent witness statements that include Chan & Akande; have you read them and are you going to incorporate your narrative into one of those examples?
    @aza123 includes Chan & Akande
    @Kpmp54 is recent & has Chan & Akande and also Smith, Edward & Wilkinson
    Is the solicitor DCBLegal or are CE doing it themselves?

    I'll have a read tonight. It's CEL themselves.

    Thanks

    Apologies  -  have I missed it because I can only see Defence in the OP's recent thread?

    Yes I saw that post by C-m previously but it does not state "and also Smith, Edward & Wilkinsonwhich you have added so I assumed you have seen the actual WS of the named OP  -  just trying to clear up any confusion.

    No, it comes from another post from C-m where she advised of some suitable WSs, I've adjusted my standard response to: -
    @Kpmp54 is recent & has Chan & Akande and, if required/suitable Smith, Edward & Wilkinson

    Thanks. Hopefully C-m can shed some light on it when she has time.

    Dunno, maybe they took it down.

    My notes about recent good WS examples are these and I think - maybe - one of the first ones might have been a CEL case(?) but I've no time to trawl through them:

    @Feyla

    @Char27

    @aza123 is recent & has Chan & Akande

    @Kpmp54 is recent & has Chan & Akande and also Smith, Edward & Wilkinson

    @mtrolley123 has Mazur and is a good WS with sub headings in a DCB / Excel case.

    @maxim024 has Mazur and is a good WS: UKCPM case poor signs at night

    My partial WS is on page 12. It is not finalised yet.

    Thanks
