Baby & maternity goods

I have just discovered that I am pregnant. :)

I wondered if anyone had spotted any good bargains in the sales for baby goods, maternity wear etc?

  • Adams have a great sale on at the moment - i noticed the Disney unisex range was reduced. also worth looking on Next website for unisex designs as they do tend to have the smaller sizes left. i ordered some whites for a friend whose pregnant - jacket for £4 and 3pack bodysuits for £4. also boots also have sale. It may be worth waiting till the easter sales if your planning to find out the bump colour! but its worth having a look around also in mothercare and mamas and papas. actually all the shops seem to be in a SALE mood, lol.

    Hi

    Congratulations!!!

next had some nice fold over top black maternity triusers for £7 in the sale-I got some online. They are great for relaxing in and really comfortable!! Not too thick so will be ok for the summer too. I am not pregnant, just trying to get rid of the baby fat..:rotfl:

I also got stuff from http://www.budget-bumps.co.uk/acatalog/index.html last year. Excellent fast service from them too.

The sales have plenty of newborn baby things, but they are mainly for boys or girls, and not really neutral.

Ebay is great for NB stuff, as they are hardly in the clothes before they grow out of them!!

  • Can i just second the baby show! its absolutely brilliant. couldnt go whilst pregnant as baby was due same time as baby show (may) at NEC in birmingham. but went last year and wish id gone when i was pregnant as learnt loads and were some great products. and got loadsa freebies. and on that note, had a survey to fill in online when i got back and due to that i got free tickets to this years show! yipee:T
  • Just to add to my previous post re the baby show

If you go there is usually the 3d scan people tucked in a corner, find them and book a slot for a 3d scan
it was only £20 which is a fraction of the normal cost and hence it gets booked up fast
    definatly worth it though

    Regards

    Pete
