Friends & Family Railcard - different adult cardholder on return journey

I am looking at buying a F&F Railcard - and travelling Glasgow --> London with my two kids (both are >5 y.o. and <16 y.o.).
My wife will travel down with them as one of the two main adult railcard holders. I will then travel back a week later with them as the other main adult railcard holder.

Can it be different named adult railcard holders on the outward then return tickets?

Or would we need to buy single journey tickets for each element as the parent travelling on each journey (outward and return) is changing, even though all are on same railcard (which would be a lot more expensive, I guess)?

(Hope I've explained that clearly 😊🤞)

As long as a F&F railcard is held by an adult travelling with the children on F&F discounted tickets the tickets are valid.
