Finding a Pension Administrator

I have drawn a blank trying to track down the administrators of a pension that my elderly Mother-in-law paid into in the 70s/80s
1. She worked at ‘Tupperware’
2. This later became ‘Dart Industries’ and this is the name on her ‘Pension Plan’ certificate of Membership'
3. I went on the Government website to track the administrators, and this came up with the contact details for ‘Mercer’
4. I therefore phoned and e-mailed ‘Mercer’ with full details to be informed that they ‘not the administrators for Dart Industries’
5. I emailed them back asking for further direction and if the government website was incorrect in pointing me to them but simply got an instant automated response and no more
Can anyone advise of the next step that I can take?
Any advice/help would be most appreciated - thanks all

If she was in something called a 'contracted out' pension scheme (which is likely, given when she was a member) try: https://www.tax.service.gov.uk/shortforms/form/DPU_SAR_NI?_ga=2.230026460.1544670040.1621021753-1315656139.1609178084
This lengthy thread explains why that approach might be helpful, assuming it was a contracted out scheme: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6267734/is-there-a-really-detailed-online-method-to-check-nics/p1
You might also think of contacting Tupperware (formerly Dart Industries Limited) by writing to its registered office. See https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/00117739 for full name of the company and address of registered office.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0 -

Is your MIL already receiving her state pension?
If so, did she reach State Pension Age pre 6/4/2016?
Is the Tupperware Scheme the only pension scheme of which she was ever a member?0
