PCN: Disabled Badge / No clear Lines / Loading Bay?

Hello
Today (Sunday 14th) in Blackburn on LORD STREET WEST, I parked my car and displayed our disabled badge (As my daughter is entitled and was with us) in our Motability provided car.
I was given a ticket for parking in a loading area, which was not clearly parked as i saw the sign once i got the ticket, the sign is when you enter the area but not where i parked.
When trying to sort our child out it was not a priority to check i guess.
There are no clear yellow lines either.
Can i appeal this?

You are wasting your time raising the matter, if you check the gov.uk official web site covering the use of blue badges, it states "The Blue Badge is not a licence to park anywhere. Like other road users, you must obey the rules of the road, as laid out in the Highway Code. Here is a list of places where you must not park. Places where a ban on loading or unloading is in force..."Parking on the pavement is likely to get you a ticket for obstructing the pavement too.0

Whilst I have some measure of agreement on the pavement thing (also disabled and blue badge holder - who needs pavements for my scooter!) I disagree with you. The "No Loading" plate is supposed to be a supplement to on street markings, and I can see no on street markings - in fact it looks like they have covered them over. The kerb markings are the legal "marker" - the plate provides additional information for them.Frozen_up_north said:You are wasting your time raising the matter, if you check the gov.uk official web site covering the use of blue badges, it states "The Blue Badge is not a licence to park anywhere.
