Win Santa Claus vs The Easter Bunny!

Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny live next door to each other, but there's little love lost between them—especially from the Bunny’s side. Poor Bunny, tasked with hand-casting, wrapping, and delivering all his annual Easter eggs, feels envious of Santa, who has a flashy factory and a team of elves to handle his toy production. This stark contrast in their working conditions fuels Bunny’s resentment towards his jolly neighbour.

One night, driven by envy and frustration, Bunny sneaks into Santa’s factory. In an act of sabotage, he pours chocolate into all of Santa’s present-making machines, ensuring that the toys intended for Christmas morning will melt into gooey messes. Bunny imagines the chaos and disappointment that will ensue, feeling a twisted sense of satisfaction at the thought of Santa’s downfall. "HA! TAKE THAT, SANTA!" he thinks triumphantly.

However, Bunny’s scheme backfires spectacularly. Instead of the chaos he envisioned, the world’s children are overjoyed with the unexpected chocolate gifts left under their Christmas trees. Santa becomes even more beloved for his seemingly generous and whimsical new offerings, leaving Bunny feeling utterly defeated. Yet, despite this setback, there’s a hint that Bunny’s mischief might pave the way for an unexpected alliance with Santa.

Fred Blunt’s anarchic and hilarious story brings to life a complacent Santa and a desperate, exhausted Bunny whose misguided prank ultimately leads to a heart-warming resolution. This delightful mash-up of festive characters offers a fresh and original take on the traditional Christmas picture book, filled with genuine laughs and a touch of holiday magic. The tale’s charm lies in its unique perspective and the unexpected twists that remind readers of the enduring spirit of the season.
