Morning again, it's dry here but dull and grey, doesn't look too promising.
I haven't posted for a couple of days, I've had a couple of terrible nights which left me feeling a bit groggy, but I had a better night last night, so feeling quite spry! By my standards any way.
Nothing much to report, yesterday seemed to be a day of long phone calls, just friends and family, which was nice.
I've been out a couple of times to our High street, and I think I'll nip out to the butchers this morning, that's about it I think.
Hope you're enjoying your weekend Gers.
Have a good day everyone, take care folks.10 -

Morning all
It looks a bit grey here and I'm currently watching the NZ v England rugby whilst waiting for DH to decide if we're going to get the train to London. He'd like to buy a new pair of Ecco shoes, as his current pair are completely worn out, and our nearest shops are Oxford, Cambridge or central London!
Has DD and the GCs round yesterday afternoon and they stayed to eat. Unfortunately the children needed dinner about 5pm, so I cooked ours a bit later but they were tired and ready to go home soon after they'd eaten. We watched the rest of the tennis afterwards.
TA: we opened the gingerbread yesterday and it was as delicious as I remembered. There was a short queue to buy it but not surprising as the shop is so tiny.
Hope everyone is keeping well. Have a good weekend.9 -
Morning all, similar weather here, thought it was a bit warmer and took the dog out in just a t-shirt but it was still a bit nippy. We're off to DGS footie tournament in a couple of hours, then later this afternoon DGDs presentation. I hope there is a bit of a gap between the events as not sure if DS1 will be in to feed pooch. He's off to see his car mates.Next door are off to Scotland camping, I think it's been a struggle getting all the gear in the car, we'll keep an eye on the house and put their bin out.I've got some al di steaks for tonight - with chips that'll be quick to do as we won't know what time we're back.Hope you all have a decent weekend.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
