Been getting emailed a lot of these recently. Do you get emailed the voucher code too?

I always utilise them as I really like getting them as I only do my shopping at Morrisons. I do a big shop with them but instead of buying junk I meal plan and make sure I have enough evening meals to prepare for 3 weeks.

I do but I never use them as regardless of the vouchers I find them much more expensive than other supermarkets and even with the voucher I'm not actually saving money

To spend 70 pounds I’d have to buy a lot more things, half of which is probably cheaper elsewhere so I’m another one it’s not worth it for.
Last time I was going to stock up on dogfood but that was a fiver a bag dearer so again not worth it,

I wish they would scrap these vouchers and put their prices down. The price match is just nonsense and selected things. The tinned sardines and mackerel in there is more often more than even Waitrose.

But then you wouldn't feel that lovely warm joy of getting a BARGAIN, would you? I mean, like that lovely generous Double Glazing salesman that quoted GBP20,000 to replace the windows, but after battling with his manager, especially for ME, got it down to just GBP9,000. What a SAVING!

No, wait, it's disreputable companies that have inflated prices and then "discount" them back down leaving you _still_ overpaying. Hmm.

It's not a great system, but Morrisons persist with it, and I continue to be disappointed with their new direction ... and shop there less and less as a result. A "get something for spending over GBP70" voucher for me would go straight in the recycling ...

That reminds me of getting a quote for a fitted wardrobe a few years ago.  It was one of the big brands and they quoted £12k :D. After a lot of negotiating it went down to less than £2k.  Him indoors said it was still too expensive.  We went to B & Q and bought mirrored sliding doors and wood and he built it himself for a fraction of the price.  When we sold the house 2 or 3 years later to a couple of FTBs, the first to view,  they admired the fitted wardrobe and offered us the full asking price. :)
