Hey everyone
Sorry for another Resolvecall thread but this one is slightly different I think.
In January I received a letter from Resolvecall chasing an alleged historic CC debt.
I immediately replied with a standard "Statute Barred" letter
They replied in writing stating "We confirm your account is closed with Resolvecall Limited therefore we will not contact you again on this matter. No further payment or correspondence should be sent to ourselves regarding this account"
Today - 6 months later - I have received an SMS text message from Resolvecall saying "Your account has been passed on to us for a home visit. To prevent please visit <website>"
Can anyone advise on my next course of action please?
(I do not have any debts or ccjs showing on my credit file)
Thanks

Tell them that they are welcome visit but
You won't be answering the door, even in the unlikely event of being in
You won't be making any payment to a debt that even if it was genuine would be statute barred
You won't be discussing anything with them.
Or just ignore0 -

I just don't understand how they can have closed this and then suddenly re-opened it?? All it is doing is wasting my time and money everytime I have to deal with them over something I do not owe0 -

Texts/emails/calls can all be ignored as unwanted communications, only a letter must be responded to.
