What is the chance of securing a mortgage with a lender that you have ever had a debt management plan with?
My mortgage advisor has found us a mortgage with Natwest, but for the life of me, I can't remember if I had an IVA, with them included, about 10-20 years ago.

Each lender keeps their own records so it's possible. Whether they keep them 15-20 years now that GDPR has come in and they are supposed to have a retention policy...
You might be ok.1 -
Natwest/RBS are very strict on this.
Their internal records will have probably put a flag next to your name if they had to write off a penny. It usually means they will not give you a mortgage.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Normally (but not always) it would get picked up at AIP stage.
