Morning everyone and thanks for starting us off Gers. It's very wet here.9

The morning looks promising, it's been very bright and sunny since dawn, let's hope it keeps that way. Yesterday stayed lovely apart from the nippy wind which has outlived its stay.NS Monday, today is definitely different. It's my nail appointment this morning and then a little shopping. After that not too much. I'm off to do a quick wash in the machine and get it out on the line. What a shocker about Rob @Ruby. He was lucky to have been rescued.I hope that all is well.9

Good morning Gers, thanks for starting.
It's a grey start here, rain is forecast I think.
We returned yesterday from our holiday on the N Yorks coast, we've had a really nice time. One of my nieces and husband was there as well for 4 days, they were in an Air bnb, so we spent some time with them.
I went for my hospital appointment on Friday, it was at a hospital in S Durham, so so I'm now waiting for the results of oesophageal biopsies, 6-8 weeks apparently, so it's a bit worrying.
I have washing to do, but there'll be no drying outside I fear, it's getting darker out there now, so not promising.
I haven't read back so don't know what everyone has been up to, but hope you're all ok, and have a good day today.
Take care folks.10 -
Morning all, after a lovely quite warm day yesterday we're back to heavy rain. I'm putting off the dog walk for a bit but I think it;s in for the day anyway, so I'll go after I've posted.Scarlet, that's a long time to be waiting, big hugs.RR, poor Rob and his mum, very scary.I'm off out this morning for coffee and a bit of shopping at the retail park with my oldest friend, at least that'll break up the rainy day.Lamb chops for tea, not sure if DS will be in or not, think he's meeting someone about some work.Right the rain has eased a bit so will get out with the dog quickly.Take care all:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning folks and thanks GERS. After a lovely day yesterday - I even sat outside reading for a while after lunch - today we have rain! It's forecast to hang around for the foreseeable too now that it's found us. What's happened to those lazy hazy days of summer!
SCARLET what a long worrying wait, what on earth takes so long. I hope it's a favourable result eventually.
RUBY poor Rob, he must have been so frightened and his mum so worried.
All being well I'm meeting my DF again for lunch and we are hoping the fire alarms that kept going off last week have been sorted out!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for all in need of one. Take care all xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"9 -

I had my MRI nearly six weeks ago and nothing since. I hope that all is OK with you. xI've got my washing out on the line, now got soggy ankles because of the heavy dew on the grass. If the day stays dry I might get it cut but I think that rain is forecast for this afternoon and tomorrow.

Morning everyone off out in a minute to a cleaning job it’s pouring down here and it’s supposed to last all day I wouldn’t care but we have got Brass in the park tonight it’s always attracts a lot of people especially families it’s nice to have a wander down and listen to all the different bands I’m afraid we won’t be going tonight. Scarlet what a worry I will be keeping everything crossed that it’s good news . Shepherds pie tonight back to winter meals . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing8

Morning all
Its damp and dreary here with rain due for most of the day / week 😩 what a dreadful summer we are having ! Two people coming today Rob is still poorly I’m not sure what we will do depends what they fancy but I have found an indoor crazy golf place which might be good in the rain.
Pork chops for dinner tonight we are out of potatoes as I have not shopped since coming back from holiday so I think I will do come cous cous and roasted veg with them. No point doing a wash as the airer is full and we can’t hang it out.
DD is off sick today and possibly tomorrow as well she has caught the cold that OH had while we were away I hope I’m not next 🤞
Scarlet what a long wait for results hope they come back ok xx
Have good days all and take care xx

Morning! Raining! I've got my sheepskin sippers on....OH is of today to try and sort out some more stuff, my face is breaking out in spots and I'm a little stressed because stress elbow is back [ I get something like eczema on my elbow, the skin flakes off and catch in any long sleeves if I'm wering them...Yesterday turned out busy, I ate my supper at elven o clock last inght...Oh needed a lift to work, he hadn't charged his battery, so I did that, then I was making dough for some flatbreads and using the sewing machine to mend stuff because that's going upstairs too, by the time I finished that and went to cook the bread [ in a frying pan] it was half five and nearly time for a two hour online course [ thing about diabetes, turned out to be mostly cbt which was a chocolate teapot for me] . I didn't have enough time to cut up the chicken and marinate it so i did that, and cooked the bread, it was half nine by then, OH asked if I could pick him up earlier so I put everything on hold thinking he'd get back to me, he didn't, so picked him up at usual time of half ten, then cooked the chicken and onions/peppers and ate...Today we are sorting clothes and making room...should be fun [ where's that smiley forpained resignation?]Ruby, that's a shocker about Rob, but having read Sun Addicts diary over the years, it did bing home how draining and difficult it can be to care for someone 24/7, so hopefully the safegaurding team can come up with something to help..Scarlet, fingers crossed...Rosy, I'm sure midges are the James Bond villains of the insect world, they just don't stop..and you can't scare them away either. Izzy, maybe the weather will change..I love a brass band too, we did used to see them at Christmas but they're getting rarer now. Gers, hope it stays a bit drier today! Take care all, shout to the holidaymakers and poorlies..Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi9
