Silly Question - Overpayments

This is going to sound daft but I'm going to ask.

Do people here feel happy about making more than one overpayment a month?

What I mean is, do banks and building societies get the revised payment correct even though interest is calculated daily when overpayments follow, say, within a few days?

Thanks.

I have a spreadsheet comparison that I use whenever I make an overpayment so I can track the progress and see what is expected interest-wise.

I haven't experienced any issues to date to be honest.
:D Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!:D
  • i use Northern Rock and they always get it right every time

I overpay in my "normal" monthly payment and usually make an overpayment of between 150 and 250 and then if i get say £100 from Ebay or simewhere i pay that also- never any issues

go for it, every little bit helps
