    Morning all,

Pay day today and my first chip at my debt totals.  I also paid for my hotel costs for my holiday in January so that meant a bit less to my debt repayment but it means come January I should only have to pay for going out when I’m there and the other touristy bits.

    Debt update;

    Car Loan - £3,774/£3,574
    Credit Card - £2,600/£2,500
    Holiday - £948/£474

    Total Debt - £7,322/£6,548 (-£774)

Last week I had £5.78 left from my weekly £30 budget - a miracle 😊. Managed not to spend anything over the weekend which is unusual. I spent my weekend painting, babysitting and watching the All Ireland football final (amazing match) - so lesson learned is to keep myself busy and away from temptation.

Monthly Asda order due this Thursday and I try to think of meals it will cover for as much of the month as possible so I only have small top up shops for fresh bits.

    Weekly spending
    Spends  (27.7 to 1.8) £30/£0 spent
    Other -??

Onwards and upwards for the week ahead 😊.
You need to be content with small steps. That’s all life is. Small steps that you take every day so when you look back down the road it all adds up and you know you covered some distance.
  • Well done you that is an amazing amount paid off.

    Thanks DR

    Weekly spending
    Spends  (27.7 to 1.8) £30/£6.05 spent
    Other -£0

I had a super low buy this week. My Asda monthly shop came yesterday and I know that helped but my £30 weekly budget is really working.

I have picked up a heavy cold - so not much of an update today. On the positive side, not feeling great cuts down the spending opportunities.
