Do not expect to get rich as a mystery shopper, but it is a good way to make extra money on a flexible schedule. A few tips:
Never pay a fee to apply. Legitimate mystery shopping companies do not charge you.
Apply to lots of companies. You never know where your best assignments will come from. You can start with this list of 200 legitimate mystery shopping companies.
Although mystery shopping is not a scam, there are lots of scammers using mystery shopping as a pretense to cheat you. Watch out for the cashiers check scam, where you are told to cash a check and wire money to someone. This is not really a mystery shop, it is a scam and the check is a forgery.
Good luck!0 -
hi ya ,
I do a bit Mystery Shopping, use all of the ones listed in the boost your income thread as they will provide you with a nice little earner I work for retail eyes and grass roots both pay ok and sometimes throw a food job my way ( free lunch !!!) ,these are good but if your house bound and cant get out try becoming a survey taker its ok but you may have to take a good few surveys to make any cash but try yougov and juicybrains panel these are just a few, but if you fit the demograph of the surveys they send out then dont be worried to find lots of invitations to take lots of surveys it just means lots more rewards.
or if you really good with general knowledge and have good searching skills try becoming a textpert (I think there are threads on this site on where to find them) what you would be doing is answering peoples questions and using your computer skills to get the answers, ive heard it can be quite a good earner
all the best spooky25:j0
