Update
So I may not go back to second job so what happens will my tax code revert back and also will my pay in main job remain same tax amount off next month?

What tax codes do you have for each job at the moment?0
-
So will my main job still remain same pay if I give up this job it won’t affect my next pay in 3 weeks?0
-
If you complies with the new starter process and made sure tax code BR is used by your second employer then there should be no need for your tax code at your main job to change.gadget88 said:So will my main job still remain same pay if I give up this job it won’t affect my next pay in 3 weeks?
But as you haven't provided any details relating to what you have earned and the tax deducted at your second employment it's impossible to be certain.1 -
Thanks I never got a pay slip yet as it’s monthly pay so I can’t be sure what tax code the new company used sadly.Dazed_and_C0nfused said:

Well when you do get a payslip if it shows tax code BR (or 0T) then there should be no need for your tax code at the main job to change.gadget88 said:

If they have used the emergency tax code (1257L) then you will owe some tax and that could mean HMRC change your tax code at your main job (to collect the tax you owe).1
