Shaking off the debt

Today's effort has been to apply for an evening job.  I spoke with DH about it, and he isn't thrilled about the idea, but does understand that it isn't forever, just to make a bit of a dent into reducing the totals. I'll keep my eye out as we head towards the festive season for other temporary jobs too. I'm keen not to lose my weekends as I really do value them as I get older, and have commitments already in place for a large number of them.

Have you thought about doing your SOA again and posting? I know you said you were embarrassed but it may help. 

Have you caught up on ynab yet? I think seeing where your money is being spent and how easy small purchases build up may be eye opening for you
