Is it too late to send a CPR 31.14 after recieving a directions questionaire from County Court?

Lowell have submitted a claim against me for a debt that defaulted 10+ years ago and I have never made payments or contact to any collections attempts so it is statute barred.

I submitted my defence thinking that would be the end of it, but now I've received the directions questionnaire and I'm concerned the burden might be on me to prove the debt is statute barred.

Is it too late to start requesting documents?

I realise this is sloppy of me, but my mental health is a mess, I have twin toddlers, and a full time job so it's difficult staying on top of everything.

Thanks for any help.

This is standard practice by the court. You have stated it's statute barred. The claimant (Lowell) have to prove it isn't.

There's no need to request info from Lowell now.
