I'm wanting a Sat Nav but struggling to decide the best one to get.
I've got about £150 to spend (also got £20 PC World/Dixons/Currys/The Link vouchers). I like the look of the Tom Tom v3 or 520 GB ones but my husband thinks I should go for a PDA. Can anyone help decide which is going to be the best value for my money?

I have a PDA with TomTom - it's very good software.
I also have Garmin Nuvi 200 which is also brill.
A self contained Sat Nav device is best in my opinion.0 -
So can anyone tell me the difference between the Tom Tom v3, 520 & 720 and is it worth paying the extra for the better model?
I love my nursing necklaces. Keep babies hands occupied and you free to breastfeed in peace.

The prices are $ but the facilities give you a clue.
The other differences you need to check are UK & Ireland maps - or Western Europe0 -
I have just bought a Tom Tom 720 Traffic from amazon £205 including free delivery....best price I could find.
I thought it was the best...........but time will tell !!!!0 -
Hi
We recently bought the TomTom V3 (UK and Europe) and so far been very pleased with it. Like you, it took us months of searching before we finally chose, in the end the decision was made due to a sale price (we managed to get it for £129) but there are so many out there the decision was very difficult!
We do drive abroad quite a lot so for us the Europe version made sense.Feeding my 'sheep' money box with any £2 coins I get - no idea how much is in there will empty it when full0
