Another question. My apologies.
When I discontinue paying creditors, I understand I do nothing by way of engaging with them until the accounts are defaulted.
What happens in the situation whereby some default after say, 3 months and others don't?

I would suggest you just wait a few months and then start telling them what you will pay them. You can start paying them at different times. If they haven't defaulted then put the money you would have been paying them into a savings account until they do.
Id suggest paying them all less than you can afford and put the difference aside, then when you have built up enough money you could try makita settlement offer on ome of them.1
