Are my creditors connected to my bank?
Good afternoon to all,
I have a question if I may.
After reading the many posts herein, I am preparing to initiate a DMP, probably self-managed, within the next few months.
My bank account is with HSBC. I don’t owe them anything, as far as I am aware…
My
creditors consist of:
Lendable (Loan)
Halifax CC
Amazon Pulse CC
MBNA CC
Virgin Money CC
Barclaycard CC
JD Williams (catalogue)
PayPal Credit
My
question is, ‘are any of my creditors part of HSBC?’ and will the bank likely
try to recover monies from my current account?

don't think so - but you can check on a statement in the small print - it should say what part of a group they are - for instance MBNA are part of Lloyds Banking Group ( as is Halifax )1
