wife and I got our second appointment out of 3 today ,it is a home visit,to try generate a debt solution for us.
the 2nd and 3rd are due to the number of hours allocated to show advisor proof of all paperwork.

( on a foot note and of interest,I also learned recently that anything what info we give today can be accessed by eg bankruptcy application officer in near future , eg if we used a debt advisor in previous 6 months.
so if we get rejected for a DRO and apply within 6 months for bankruptcy, then the debt charity info we give today will be accessed, compared to the bankruptcy application details.)

anyway, we signed a credit consent form granting the insolvency panel ltd who act as intermediary and technology service between advisors.

and we also signed an authority authorising CAP to access all our personal data and financial obligations.

I attach our authority to TIP the insolvency panel and their privacy notice

no personal info is shown.

anything we should be aware of?

the bit about account score bank transaction data open banking  that TIP access is a new thing to me.

Just as a word of caution if you go for a DRO and you change your circumstances substantially it may mean the DRO will fail.  From what you've posted in the past you have been making a lot of changes so do think through your choices carefully.

The Insolvency Panel is a commercial organisation that offers to share (with debt charities) the info it gets on mutual clients from credit reports

The business model is presumably that a proportion of these will get referred to them for an IVA and they can cash in on the fees.

We used to use them at CAB but were always uncomfortable with the arrangement (I never referred any clients to them) and we now have our own arrangements with 2 CRAs.

It seems CAP are happier to be linked to them.

Let us know how you get on

well it's going to be over 4 meetings due to the amount of info, and the final solution over 2 to 3 months. today was fact finding, employment history, tenancy history, bank account history,  car ownership, any pensions
we have to upload our paperwork to them and interim agreements, their head office keep collaborating any info we send, we check what they send back,  we amend, we alter,we update new info. eg new wages, any benefits.

it isn't a fast process and the creditors need to be told this.if they expect a fast application, then that's not how CAP work.

the only snag is I upload my bills, eg rent , water, council tax is shared named bill, wife does the same, but car tax, car insurance is all iny name, hence she won't be allowed to upload it, despite helping pay for these costs as she uses car too

but money wellness classed that as a joint bill.
not this old problem again, citizens advice last year would not allow us to share car bills
