Housekeepers are now quite common, sometimes called PA's. They often do anything and everything that their employer can't be bothered to do.Being serious, the yanks go mad for properly trained British Butlers. Well, seeing as we inherited 4 bottles of part-used washing up liquid (all green) I don't think that system is for me - as it's TikTok, I'm probably 30 years above their target demographic.
Our system is very similar to others - we have a list. I do a weekly menu ( not a law, more a guideline) and write down the stuff we need for it but don't have, and anything we need to replace, goes on as and when we find out we're running out of it. Not foolproof, but it works 99% of the time and anything we forget we put on the next list.

We have a chalkboard in the kitchen and in theory we write down items which are running low and then they are added to the weekly online delivery. We have had problems though when no one rubs the item off the board after it has arrived, so then it gets ordered the following week and maybe even the next !!
There's also the " I'll write that on the board when my hands are clean and dry " moment which then totally slips out of thoughts so item gets missed .....Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/22 -

I talk to husband on his way to work and we agree on something for supper. If we don't have all the ingredients, OH will pick them up from a supermarket on his way home.
We used to have a notebook for the freezer but we were pretty lacksadaisical about updating it.
Have done a spreadsheet in the past but that didn't get updated enough either.
I buy kitchen rolls on offer, and stockpile Evian, San Pellegrino, cans of beans, gluten free pasta, clean pasta sauces and organic chopped tomatoes.2 -
I do it the other way round - we do most of our shopping from one supermarket, so I go through the Offers page on their website when they change and add anything we use to the list (quantities depending on how frequently we use it). This means we hardly ever run out of things or have to buy them at full price.2
