'Enable Print' Why Microsoft, just why?

Options
Every time I either get sent a Microsoft Office document that needs printing or I need to print Office documents off other media like a flash drive I have to 'Enable Printing' Why? what is the point apart from it being annoying, if I've selected print it means I want to print, do we need this extra 'Are you sure' measure?  I can understand the 'Enable Editing' as that's a safeguard from accidentally changing something, but 'Enable Print' just seems pointless.
I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world

I think you’ve misunderstood the purpose of those messages.

It’s possible for files to contain malicious parts (such as macros) which can run when you edit them or print.

If the document has come from somewhere non-local and there’s no way to find what’s in the file other than the text then it will give you those warnings that you should only edit or print documents you are sure off.
