Good morning, it's fine here, yesterday was a fine day as well.
Sorry your dg d has had problems again Dp1, poor little soul. Hope she'll be ok.
Enjoy your holiday Camelot.
Yesterday was a quiet day, we went over to the caravan to see if anything was needed for our holiday next week and I did some shopping while we were out.
I'm going for a hearing test today, I' m due for new hearing aids. That's all that's happening apart from the run of the mill stuff. Dil's mum messaged yestetday, she's got Covid! and I was out with her the day before. I've had it twice already, hope I don't get it again, though I probably will.
Hope everyone has a good day. Take care folks.

Thanks for the start Scarlet
I did try to post yesterday but it kept randomly changing words into bold and italic and wouldn’t revert to ‘normal - that messed with my tidy brain so I gave up and never got around to coming back!Anyway yesterday went - water garden, car boot sale, made bacon rolls, clean and proof van roof tent, move freezer in garage (and sweep behind), plant plants (from boot sale), cut hedge, make dinner, do shop admin, - that’s all I remember but I was tired !Today - probably similarly busy - hoping to collect a small shelf unit from FBMP but the seller is very slow in replying with info. Might mow the lawn though it doesn’t seem to have grown much.
hope everyone has a nice Sunday and enjoys the sun, if you have some!

Morning all; lovely sunny day here and I've already hung out a large load of washing.
Had a super time in Windsor yesterday. One of my Morris sides was invited to a Day of Dance around the town, with lunch across the river in Eton. There was time allocated for us to watch the march back following the Changing of the Guard plus we saw four lots of empty carriages and horses on their way to the parade at Royal Ascot - proper touristy things! Mind you, it took me 2 hours to drive home afterwards because of the traffic on the motorways.
Today I have lots of household things to do so will need to make a start soon. DH is going to cook us a Sunday lunch, so looking forward to that.
Hope everyone's day goes well and DP's little one remains stable.11 -
Morning allThat sounds a lovely day out WickedLady4.Looks like we're going to have a nice warm sunny day today.Off to local pick up point once it opens to collect a blind for our bedroom from a local well known store beginning with A. Our current blind doesn't keep the sun out if the tv is on in the evening and I'm sitting there squinting and can hardly see the picture on the screen (first world problems!) so getting a black out blind that DH will fit when I get it home (well he did say he would)Nothing else planned for today. Hope everyone else has a good day x7

Morning everyone and thank you for starting us off Scarlet, although I was a bit confused as it's Sunday 23 June
It looks like being a very warm day today.
Hope you all enjoy the sunshine.8 -
Morning all, drizzly again here.Just caught up with yesterdays news, and so sorry DP1 that little one got an infection after surgery. Hope she's well enough to party today.DB and SIL weren't in yesterday, so just popped a card through the door for DN, then called on DS2 & DGS, who was much better, out in the back garden with a football at his feet, practising tricks
No DGD though, she decided to stay last night instead. I was in a generous frame of mind so took over the ironing that Ds was in the middle of, & he went to put some away he'd done & get another washer load in.
When we got back DH fixed the gate on for next door, and painted our side, then I painted the fence on that side as it had gone a bit discoloured, then the gate on the other neighbours side. Quite a lot of chinwagging went on with both lots of neighboursIt's nice to catch up with them as we tend to just dash in and out with all the rubbish weather we've had for the last months. We had a bbq for tea. Hope yours went well RR with DDs young man. Things didn't work out between DS1 and the girl he was seeing, so he's back to messing with cars again.
Today we will go and visit our friends. The bbq has run out of gas so I'll just cook chicken breasts in the ninja tonight. Might pop in and get some strawberries for pud while we're out.Hope it's a good day for you all, hugs if not.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning everyone
Thanks for all the good wishes for little one...yet again! I saw her briefly when DD came up to collect little kitten and she seemed a lot better and had managed to go for a walk, so hopefully she'll be able to go to the birthday party later. Neither DD or myself had thought things out - little one was connected to her feeding machine, on continuous glucose - well little kitten had never seen a feeding tube before and bit through it! So she'd been crying shut in the living room by herself and little one was upset because she couldn't play with the kitten...DD was pleased when it was bedtime. So kitten could end up back at my house this morning.
No one worry though DD has a good supply of feeding tubes - just as well.
Well I'd better get moving as my mam is going to church this morning so I'll go down and have a cuppa with dad.
Wickedlady - that sounds like an excellent day out - I've never been to Windsor.
Hope everyone has a good day x

Morning everyone it’s going to be another warm one washing is nearly finished other than that there’s not a lot going on here little dog has had a decent walk she will go out again later today when it’s cooler. I seemed to bump in to everyone yesterday so there was plenty of talking going on a girl I used to live near has had a new knee and she was asking me about my hubby but she is so funny she’s only had it a few weeks and she is doing well but is impatient she kept saying I think they forgot to put a hinge in mine then she was leaning on me and raising her leg saying I’m going to end up a ballerina then we started chatting about how we all many moons ago when we went out on a weekend and we’re a bit wobbly thought we were ballerinas on the way home but them were the days of no evidence as there was no social media she really cheered my day up . Right washing is finished need to hang it out fingers crossed little one gets to the party DP1 . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing8
