Having celebrated its 40th birthday in 2023, Newcastle restaurant Sachins has undergone an interior refurbishment to refresh its look while maintaining its focus on high-quality Punjabi food.

Led by chef-patron Bob Arora, the team worked with Manchester-based wallpaper designer Beth Travers to update the restaurant’s interior and introduce what Bob describes as an “Instagram-worthy” look to the city stalwart.

A celebrated part of Newcastle’s food culture for more than four decades, Bob and team continue to create authentic and traditional Punjabi dishes with homemade spices and fresh ingredients – all served in a buzzing city centre atmosphere. The gourmet meal for two menu offers a small plate adventure around India – with starters, mains and sides expertly chosen to take diners on a tantalising journey through the flavours and textures of the subcontinent.

Terms & conditions
The prize is for the winner and a guest, and cannot to be given away as a gift. It includes three courses as detailed in the gourmet meal for two section of the menu along with a bottle of house white or red wine, or soft drinks. The prize is to be taken before March 30, 2025 and is to be arranged directly with Sachins (dates subject to availability). The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. All extras to be paid for. The winner will be drawn at random and notified within three days of the closing date.
