LOANS I DIDN'T TAKE OUT

My friend is paying back 2x £5000 loans that were taken out not by him the day they went into his bank account. They were taken straight out the bank investigated and the account and they went to has been closed. He didn’t realise until they started taking the repayments back. For them to be able to take the money out as quick as it went in, they obviously had to use my banking details. I there any thing he can do to resolve this? Thanks told him there is no option to pay you back It must be something he can do to argue this. The loans were put from revolt and a company called 118 on the same day.

I really don't understand: why were your banking details involved? Do you normally give your bank details to friends?1

bit puzzled - are you and your friend the same person?1

Doesn't make sense, but seeing Revolut mentioned as a transfer in and out likely means something dodgy going on somewhere.
Why do people still have anything to do with Revolut, there is no single reason to have anything to do with them and their lack of ethics in todays world.
Can the OP explain the chain of events in more detail.0 -

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
