Are there any voucher/ cashback sites or apps worth me having?

I keep getting people telling me about how much they save on these apps and sites but when I go to the supermarket I generally buy only fresh food, so almost nothing on the apps is anything I buy. I rarely buy clothes, holidays, take-out or any of the things that the sites give discount on. The only one I find useful is the Co-Op one because it relates the offers to the actual purchases I make. Do any other apps do this? Or any you know of for general shopping? I do have the apps for the supermarkets I use so as to get the points to spend but ones such as e.g. Shopmium, Topcashback seem to be a waste of time for me

Co op I find is so vastly overpriced that the members prices only make them nearer other supermarkets.Asda, I have collected well over £100 since their app started and continue to save each week. You mention TopCashback, these type of cash back sites never reward you for weekly grocery shopping. At best they will do a first order offer.Stick to what supermarket you use and stick to their specific loyalty card as that’s really your only option.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. I use topgiftcards on topcashback for supermarket gift cards - there's other sites/apps that do them too, it'll depend on your supermarket as to which gives the best rate. I'm brand loyal enough that I can buy a £250 giftcard once a month or so and know it'll be spent long before the two year expiry. 5.85% cashback on every shop for me, whether I'm buying fruit and veg or processed junk.
I barely bother with straight cashback, but always check if I can get discounted giftcards - the only downfall with paying with giftcards is any refunds will be on a giftcard, so best saved for shops you use often enough that wouldn't be an issue.2 -
I wish they would scrap them all and just have low prices like Aldi. My phone is clogged up with them.Waitrose, M&S, Boots, Superdrug, ASDA, Lidl, Co-op, Tesco, B&Q, Iceland, Morrisons, Nectar and Poundland. Would I be without them? No, because I am frightened I miss out on an offer.1

I use the following:
Tesco Clubcard
Nectar card
Co-op Membership card
Morrisons More card
LIDL Plus
ASDA Rewards
M&S Sparks card
Boots Advantage card
TopCashback
Quidco
Airtime Rewards
Chase Bank 1% cashback.
Santander Edge Credit Card 2% cashback.
American Express Credit Card 0.5% cashback.
Workplace discounts when buying gift cards.
Cashback offers through various bank accounts and credit cards with their “extras”.
I also use the hotukdeals app to check when buying products if there is a good deal.
This may seem extreme but it’s worthwhile registering your specially the bank cashback extras if they apply to your account or the Airtime Rewards as you don’t need to do anything. I always when I get a chance, activate all offers on my rewards accounts so that I’m eligible for them.1 -

The Asda App is one of the best supermarket ones.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. I have just retired and live on my own, so I don't do a trolley shop, just what I need.I find the most beneficial apps for me are Waitrose and Nectar who give cash, and sometimes nectar points off the same item, the same week, so double discount on things I buy regularly.I have the Lids, Morries, sparks and coop cards, and I took advantage of Icicle lands offer £15 when topping up with £100 last year, I only use these when they have something on offer I need or a freebie.I love MSE, Thank you to all who share their journey and knowledge to reach their goals and live a good life on a small income.
2025 will be a year of necessary challenges and changes, and closing some doors permanently that don’t serve me or are not in my best interest.1
