“Brand Builders”…

I’m seeing a lot of posts recently on social media re:brand building or something similar where you select products on Am@z0n or similar, promote them and sit back and wait for the ££££’s to roll in.
are these scams? Are you expected to part with money for “training”? Do they actually work? Everyone I’ve seen so far with testimonials claim 5 or 6 figure sums can be made…
now to be fair, I’d be happy if I could make a couple of hundred ££’s extra a week.
are these schemes too good to be true? Are the figures easily debunked? Is the income generated by selling these “secrets” to people…curious to hear opinions on this.

Like the old ads in magazines that said "send me £5 and I'll tell you the secret of how to become a millionaire". The reply you'd get was "put an ad in a magazine .....".I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. Didn't KatyKicker used to do something similar? Maybe she still does. I think you promote/feature certain products that sell on Amazon on your personal website and earn a percent when someone clicks on the item featured and makes a purchase.
I can't imagine you'd make much doing that.0 -
You could make a decent amount if you've got the followers.
How one person gets 500k followers showing off their Shein etc. haul and someone else 15 followers, I've no idea.
Once you've got "sheep" copying everything you do, clicking on affiliate links etc., you can pretty much watch the cash come in.
Same as YouTube. Plenty of videos with someone claiming "I made £10k last week" and their 20 min clickbait video that wants you to subscribe for more, is nothing but fancy, flashy graphics that try to wow you, with something about digital / AI creation or "I printed 300 childrens' books a day using xxx" thrown in - if it were that easy, we'd all be doing it.
I'm not saying that someone couldn't get lucky reviewing products. You may find something of a niche, or something of interest, and you come across in a certain way that appeals.

You definitely can make money doing this but it takes time, effort, and a reasonably big following. More people seem to be making money telling you how to do it than actually doing it from what it looks like!PAD 2024 - £1485.20
