CRA & CCA help

Hi All
apologies if in on the wrong board - please feel free to move accordingly.
I am currently paying minimal contribution towards old debt to Cabot, PRA & Westcot.
I have been onto the 3 usual Credit Reference Agencies for my report (Experian, Equifax and Transunion), however, am not sure I am reading them correctly as there is no mention of the debt I still owe?
I have seen in other threads, that it is best to contact the various debt agencies and request a copy of my Consumer Credit Agreements (CCA) and include £1 (coin or postal order?) to see if they can provide the relevant information.
If they cannot, does this mean that I can legitimately stop paying them accordingly or do I need to contact them to advise of such action?
TIA

Sometimes I wonder...
"why is that frisbee getting bigger?"
...and then it hits me
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Jesus loves you...A nice thing to hear in church, but a horrible thing to hear in a Mexican prison
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

When did the debts default? They will disappear from your credit report 6 years after then.
You might as well request the ccas, if they don't produce them then they can't enforce the debt so you can simply stop paying. If they cant produce them I'd just stop paying and not say anything at all.

Makes no difference how old the debts are as you have been paying them, they will not be statute barred.
I agree a CCA request is a good idea though.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
