I came across this and just wondered if anyone was interested. I would try it myself but I've just changed from o2.

has anyone successfully managed to do this?
my mum has just gotten a new phone and she topped up yesterday and has received her 300 free texts.
This would be great if it was true as I am also on o2.
I wonder whether or not this works with the 100 free minutes they give you if you havw chosen that over the free textsMatched betting profit since 11th June 2006: £613.880 -

If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. I have another loophole, it worked the other month for me.
I asked for "lend us a quid" on my top up date, I got my free 300 free texts etc and when I topped up the month after, I only paid back the quid plus 25p interest!0 -
i use o2 and this does work top up 310,£15 or £30 to get the free texts. My husband has just started using it as well. Has to be a certain sim card from o2.
Saves a fortune- try and phone 02 to see if it can be added - worth a try.
Happy new Year.:beer:Weight loss so far :

Shame!!! My new phone is on O2 and it is expensive!!! They do the 25p per minute for the first three minutes and 5p thereafter. I make calls which are less than three minutes and could get charged 75p!!! I think we should make a poll telling O2 to make a tarriff with a fixed charge.0

it works on mine - i do it every month and save loads!!0

O2 have a bolt 1000 minutes or texts to 10 O2 numbers, mix them any way you want for £5 a month. So is it really worth trying to get free texts when they cost so little!0
