hello guys. today is the last day of the 30 days in which to respond to the dcb legal LOC.
I will email the template in the newbies thread and include my name and address, as the driver, to: info@dcblegal.co.uk
I also owe everybody an apology, as i have been using this website for a few years now and have noticed my old threads, asking for help yet not continuing them or posting the results. Far too much info but have not been in a good place last few years. So, apologies.2 -
No worries. Could you update them for us?
EDIT - thanks! I see you already did.

im sorry keith i just don't get it. i included my name and address on template , assuming that this was the driver being named0

The law allows the keeper to name the driver, procedural point, such that the keeper who may have had liability can extricate themselves from the situation, leaving the named driver to sort out their own problem
The law doesn't state that the driver can absolve a keeper, only the keeper can transfer liability, if they want to be sure that they followed the law , but they must do the transfer,
The justice system has always relied on procedures1 -
so i have messed up. should i have included in the template that i am the keeper and i am naming the driver?
i did say in an earlier post that i was sending the template including my name and address0 -
